Over our conversation we were able to talk about everything from stalkers to non-porn related aspirations, the importance of fans and how much fun it was to film Ransom and about her future prospects in porn. After getting the chance to sit down with Jazmine I quickly found her to be a very warm, smart, and creative young lady. Her ambitions extend beyond the next skin flick and reach into both mainstream movies and developing her skills as a writer. Most importantly, speaking with Jazmine only reaffirmed the school of thought that porn stars are just like the rest of us. She has six tattoos, but isnt into piercings. She watches Law and Order, the original being her favorite. When asked what her favorite movie is, she had a hard time deciding between Scarface and Love Jones. When we talked about working in the industry, Jazmine said that the most unfortunate side affect she has found is that she is unable to enjoy porn as much as she used to because she breaks it apart. She said its hard to watch porn because she starts recognizing the set, has worked with the stars and knows them personally and has a working relationship with the company that made the porn. While busy and rigorous, the attitude on set was one of excitement and possibility. When asked about her desire to move into the mainstream, Jazmine gets excited. Shes already got a few movies lined up to film in the next few months, but she doesnt share any titles with me. I guess well all just have to wait and see, keeping our eyes open for her on the IMDB. As the interview whined down Jazmine and I got to talking less about business and more about when the line between business and personal is shattered. A post on her MySpace page indicated that she had dealt with a stalker. Jazmine admitted as much. A man had kept calling her cell phone and wouldnt leave her alone; as a last resort she made a post on her MySpace. Oh yeah, that day I got very aggravated. Actually you know whats so funny, since I put the post up I havent really heard from him, I mean he still calls me every now and again but I think he got mad cause I put the post up. Hed always call me and tell me about, he basically would tell me everything about me right but I noticed that a lot of this stuff came off my MySpace page so thats why I went and put it on my MySpace It wasnt her first stalker and probably wont be her last but Jazmine seems to take it all in stride.
